GROUP CLASSES
Group classes can be a great starting point for your training journey. However, they can also be too overstimulating for dogs, which can set them up for failure. Grey Dog Alliance offers a unique approach to help you and your dog succeed in group classes. You'll be enrolled with like-minded people who have similar concerns and goals about their dogs and get the support you need to succeed! You'll learn life skills, handler techniques, and become educated on dog language - oh yeah - and your pup is definitely going to learn stuff too! Most importantly, how to connect with YOU! ​

New puppy owners and owners of newly adopted dogs need support in a different way than others. You want the group session for exposure, but if your pup doesn't do well, you're stuck in a series of classes that will stress out you and your dog. Rather than flooding our pups with overstimulating environments and hoping they retain some learning, this package is designed to provide you with the best support you'll need in the early days of your relationship with your new furry family member.

One 60min in-person group session* with coaching, activities, and support for you and your pup. $75 (Saturday morning at UpTown Dogs)

One 60min Private In-Home lesson at a discount** (normally $160)

If you think your dog is ready for a group class - this is for you! This is very much a beginner class, but it assumes the decompression stages of a newly adopted dog have passed. We'll tackle how to communicate with our dogs, intro leash walking, house manners, impulse control, and how to navigate life in the city. Our class will be whatever we need it to be - everyone is different, and while we'll hit the basics, there'll definitely be ways to individualize what you need. All dogs are welcome; however, dogs with significant issues, such as those that are highly fearful and/or reactive, do not do well in a class environment as a starting point. If you are unsure if your dog is a fit, please reach out.
